The Junior Varsity and Varsity Prem Panthers basketball teams have just finished their seasons and it has been a memorable season for all three of our teams. Our JV girls started with a 3rd place out of 8 strong teams at the Prem Invitational Tournament and then went unbeaten during the CMAC season, however, narrow losses at the CMAC tournament meant they finished in fourth place. Our JV boys were very strong all season, becoming champions of the Prem Invitational, going unbeaten all season and just losing narrowly in the CMAC final to Grace. Finally our Varsity boys team started the season slowly, losing by big margins to CMIS and Grace, however their development was fantastic and by the end of the season they had achieved their highest ever finish in the CMIS invitational (3rd) and took both Grace and CMIS to the final quarter where they lost narrowly. I have been impressed with our skill development and commitment all season, so well done to all our basketball players and their coaches!
