Positive Psychology for Parents Workshop

On Wednesday 13th November 2019 Amandine Lecesne, Co-Chair of our amazing Counselling team, gave a workshop presentation on the theme of Positive Psychology for Parents. It was aimed at our Mandarin speaking parents and she was ably assisted by Vicky Wei who interpreted throughout.
The Counselling Team will run more such workshops throughout the term and is part of their commitment to providing such information and support for parents for whom English is not their first language.
We don’t always share our experiences of the joys and challenges of parenting, and this session certainly provided re-assurance, good ideas for strategy and approach, and many moments of humour. It also helped develop the ‘network’ amongst parents that can strengthen our community. We look forward to the next session!
