WOW, what an incredible start to our new school year with the first Parent School Community (PSC) meeting. The PSC monthly meeting, “PSC Meet Up”, is now every first Tuesday* of the month.

A huge thanks to all attendees; to the parents who took the time out of their morning to learn about updates from the school and to support the PSC. Thank you A. Lee, A. Justin and A. Shaun for providing and reminding us of valuable key dates and activities happening in the coming weeks, along with giving us insight into the first few weeks on campus.

Highlights of the Meeting:

• CIS Preparatory Evaluations are happening on Campus between October 24th – 27th. More information regarding parent’s involvement will be shared at a later date. The CIS Accreditation now includes Global & Digital Citizenship. 
• We are very fortunate as a community to be able to share and participate in some of the great facilities and activities available on the Prem Campus. A list of the current offerings were presented to the parents with discussion regarding potential language programs. The PSC will build on this information and continue to provide updated information.
• A caring and kind community starts with POSITIVE COMMUNICATION. Prem would like to adopt, promote and encourage this in all methods and channels of communication.
• Covid Protocols Update: Please continue to be understanding, flexible, cooperative and most importantly, be respectful of others’ choices.
• Junior & Senior Updates: Took a look at what’s new, what’s coming up, and parent workshop dates.

• An opportunity to ask questions and talk with A. Rachel is coming up at the “Round Table with the Head of School” on Tuesday, September 20th at 9.15am, directly after A. Shaun’s Senior School Coffee Morning at 8.15am in the Library (2nd Floor).
• An overview was given of the current PSC structure, activities and efforts. We invite you to help us shape the future of the PSC this year as we review the structure of the whole team to help provide better support to the school and the Prem community. If you would like to lend your time, creativity, passion and strengths, please contact us at PSCChair@ptis.ac.th. Please look out for more details about permanent roles within the PSC.
