New Parents Coffee Morning

We had a face to face Coffee for New Parents on the second floor at the library on Tuesday, September 21st.  The room was full of new parents, grade ambassadors, teachers, administrators, admissions staff, Prem School Community officers, and some relatively not so new parents such as myself.  I clearly remember our arrival at Prem last yea,  how welcomed we felt, how nice it was to finally meet the people we’ve been communicating with from abroad, how important meeting other new parents was, and our own participation in the New Parent Coffee back then.  I wanted to be there to welcome this term’s new parents.
I think the most amazing aspect of the New Parent Coffee for me was, again, to confirm that Prem is a very welcoming community, virtually as well as in person.  Most of the parents I met on Tuesday were from abroad.  It was great to meet the new members of our community as well as everyone who was there to welcome and support these new families with students from EY1 to Grade12.  As I looked around the room, I smiled knowing we made the right decision enrolling our three children at Prem.   This is an amazing community and I trust all new parents and new students will feel welcome, know who to reach out to share good news, ask questions, and transition into our school.  Welcome to this 2021-2022 school year!
