MYP Information Session for Parents

On Tuesday 17th November, Senior School Parents were invited to a Middle Years Programme (MYP) guidance session. As a parent myself it was good to hear some more in depth information regarding the MYP Curriculum. The MYP is very different to the type of education I received when I was at school, where we were taught subjects in a linear way. The  MYP encourages students to become creators, problem solvers and innovators by uncovering and transferring conceptual relationships.  There was a healthy Q&A session with the parents afterwards. Thank you to Andrew Parlby (MYP Coordinator) who delivered the session.
