Mother Tongue activities in the Junior School

Over 200 students participated in activities organized by nine language groups during the Junior School Mother Tongue Day event. The activities ranged from shadow puppets with the Chinese group to campfire folktales with the American group. Students used leaves to weave and make toys in the Thai group and explored Carnival with the German/Italian group. Students and adults alike engaged in experiences that brought them together creating a deeper bond through language. It was a great morning of living and learning using our mother tongue!

Special thank you goes out to the parents and teachers that were involved in the event.
