Another term has passed by in a flash and our boarders, as always, have been keeping themselves busy going about their daily lives, keeping up with their academics, playing sports, attending their Exploria activities and socialising out with their friends after prep in their free time evenings and at weekends.
There is never a shortage of activities to take part on a Saturday and Sunday that can range from trips to the night bazaar in order to buy family presents, exploring caves and waterfalls, afternoon tea-house visits and the students take full advantage of these.
Sometimes, however, they just enjoy watching a film with their friends in their rooms and relaxing.
Whilst they are not with their families many of the boarding students still take great pride in ensuring that their apartments are as welcoming as they would be in their own homes. This often involves putting up decorations to celebrate occasions that are meaningful to them and generally taking a great pride in living independently. Each apartment is individually decorated and designed to reflect their interests and tastes.

As the students start to head home for the holiday break they are all looking forward to seeing you again and having time out to rest and recuperate ready for the next and longest term of our school year.
I hope that you will have a lovely break and enjoy spending time with your sons and daughters. Our boarding staff are heading off on their holidays too but will look forward to seeing the students back on the weekend before school starts on Monday 8th January.
