Literacy Week in the Senior School

Literacy Week will be taking place across the Whole School from Thursday 21 February – Thursday 28 February. The theme for Literacy Week this year is ‘One World, Many Stories’

Throughout the week there will be opportunities to celebrate Literacy Some of the Senior School events include (but are not limited too)

Kick off on Thursday 21 February International Mother Language Day, the first day of Literacy Week.8:25 am Gr 1-12 will attend an assembly celebrating this day

  • Open Mic Thursdays – Both 21st and 28th
  • Open Mic Session at lunchtime in the Library for budding poets
  • Language speed dating
  • Spelling bee
  • A literary/theatrical engagement with our Resident Artist from Gridiron
  • Dress Up Day on Thursday 28th
