Literacy week

We have been very busy organising great learning experiences to develop a love of literacy for Literacy week. This week will begin with a whole school Mother Tongue assembly on Friday February 21st. All students will go to the auditorium to learn about the importance of Mother Tongue and why we celebrate it every year. We are so lucky to have so much diversity with different languages at Prem and so it’s a great opportunity. After the assembly Junior School children will head straight to Mother Tongue activities where our parents in the community very kindly organise crafts, cooking and games.

We have lots of fun, educational activities for the rest of the following week. Friday the 28th February will be book character day where the children will come dressed as their favourite character and will hold a parade in the playground depending on the weather. This year,  you will have the opportunity to visit your child’s classroom to see literacy in action and participate in literacy activities with your child. We have many activities planned and we will have a full timetable sent out to you soon. If you want to be involved in Mother Tongue morning or any other activities please email coletteh@ptis.ac.th
