Korean Book Donation

The library staff are delighted to have received a donation of Korean language children's books to extend the library resources in mother-tongue languages. We are grateful to a group of Prem Korean parents for making this donation.

As well as being available for general reading, the books will also be great for the Korean Mother Tongue Exploria.

Ajarn Chrystal commented, "Encouraging young children to learn their Mother Tongue helps them to develop confidence, self-esteem and their unique identity within a multicultural society. Culture and traditions essentially go hand in hand with language. Therefore, by learning the mother tongue it will help pass down language, culture and traditions from generation to generation."
