Karin Littlewood Brings Immi to the Library

This week the entire Junior School went on a field trip to the Arctic.  While there, the students spent time with Karin Littlewood who is not only an author but also a talented artist who has illustrated over 40 books.

The children got to know the character Immi who lives in an igloo, and also learned how to draw arctic animals.  They started creating pictures that will develop into story prompts, and these in turn, will turn into oral and/or written stories.

Feel free to come to the library and have a read inside our igloo.
