Junior Boarders' Committee

The opinions of our young people are extremely important to us – after all, who understands what they want to do better than themselves!

This term a new junior boarders committee has been set up, with each apartment having a representative or apartment leader. They meet with Ajarn Milena every few weeks to discuss their opinions on boarding activities and facilities. They are often given extra leadership tasks to complete such as creating posters or collecting information from their housemates. They have been very supportive by creating posters of all their devices to help the teachers keep track and collecting a list of everyone’s birthdays so that we can make sure to celebrate everyone!
They have also been very helpful in giving their opinions on activities they would like to do. Whilst the suggestion of being able to keep devices all night might not pass, we loved the idea of having a Secret Santa and end of term party.

Thank you for the wonderful input and suggestions from the junior boarders’ committee.
