After being at home for so long and away from friends, Traidhos Camp is excited to offer real camps on campus, following the keeping safe from covid-19 campus policy. This year you can participate as a residential camper or as a day camper for any of the age 9 – 14 activity camps. We have adjusted the original programs so that we fully utilise the amazing campus spaces without the need to venture off campus.
Next Sunday we open for Survival Camp ( 5 – 11 July).
This is followed by a team building and developing leadership skills camp ( 12 – 18 July), Young Naturalist Camp with plenty of time on the farm and investigating the plants and animals on campus ( 19 – 25 July).
Fun Food and Feasting explores regional food in Thailand as well as different cooking and baking techniques, kitchen safety and healthy eating. There is the usual mix of games and camp fun as well ( 26 July – 1 August).
We are inviting back our friends from Padi Dive to run the Bubblemaker course in the pool. Campers will learn to use the full set of diving equipment, and work for the Padi Dive bubblemaker certificate. Supporting activities will include games about marine conservation.
From July, we will offer small day camps on campus for ages 4 – 6 and 6 – 8. Campers will be engaged in a mix of experiential activity on the Traidhos Farm, cooking classes, science based discovery, art and crafts with a nature theme and time for exploration and play.
We are pleased to offer a first aid course ( age 12+) and a life guarding course ( 12+ Prem lifeguard skills certificate , 15+ can work towards the external qualification). Please sign up by 10 July if your child would like to learn these important skills. Each course will run every morning for 5 days, with the exam on the final day.
