As term 3 ends in these extraordinary circumstances JS classes are finding all sorts of ways to keep their community spirit and spirit of inquiry alive.
Aj.Alison and Aj,Steve had great fun with their Grade 4 students in an end of term ‘Zoom party’ ( and we love Aj.Alison’s backgrounds that change everyday – earlier she had a ‘Matrix’ background – nice one!).
Aj.Kate’s Grade 1′s have been really enjoying sharing through technology. Aj. Kate tells us ” I started a ‘Friendly Friday’ to encourage the students to share their news, show their pets, etc to keep our little community alive. But now they’re posting spontaneous origami, magic tricks, cooking demonstrations, dolphin information, etc 24/7 – including weekends!”.
How wonderful that even when times are tough our Prem community steps up and still finds ways to thrive, share and learn.
Wishing everyone a safe and restful break and we hope that the world will look a little more optimistic when term 4 begins.
