"Inventing Tomorrow" - Grade 10 Science Trip

On Wednesday 27th August the Grade 10 science students were very fortunate to attend a screening of the documentary film “Inventing Tomorrow” held at Chiang Mai University. The film was an amazing document of the work of four teenagers from around the world who were using science to tackle environmental issue in their communities. The resilience, creativity and self management they displayed was inspirational. The screening was made more special because the film’s Director, Laura Nix, and one of the films ‘stars’ ,Sahithi, attended and took questions after the screening.  Prem students asked pertinent and searching questions in this open forum and were excellent ambassadors for our school.

Our thanks to the American Consulate General and Chiang Mai University Faculty of Science for hosting the event, and thanks to A. Simon, A.Charles, A.Andy,A.Mala and A. Toey-Sara for chaperoning this trip.
