Boarding Council is a student-led group, chairing Fin Taylor and his partner Nino Bruhlmann. The organisation’s goal is similar to that of Student Council and that is to take into account and voice the opinions of boarders within Prem. Boarding Council plans to join and host multiple events around the school, both for charitable causes and to make known to the community the role that boarders play within the school. As is the focus of any organisation, Boarding Council promotes the idea of open communication among staff and students, pushing boarders to voice their opinions, and aims to raise and nurture future leaders.

On Tuesday the Boarding Council sold popcorn and mocktails outside the Talent Show; they stood out with their beach vibe and DJ set! The stand proved extremely popular, with a very long queue during the intermission!

They also had fundraisers at the Interhouse Art Competition, Premathlon, and will do so again on Wednesday at the Interhouse Tug-of-War. Bring your money, and don’t forget your house spirits!
