International Peace Day

On Friday, September 21st we recognized International Peace Day.

As a class, the EY3 students worked together for several weeks to spread kindness around the school.  During this inquiry, the Kindness Rocks project emerged and led up to International Peace Day.

On Friday, the EY3 demonstrated confidence while sharing their knowledge and understanding of the importance of kindness and peace in our school community and in the world.

The children did a great job speaking to the entire Junior School community!

We were risk-takers by teaching the students, teachers, and parents how to do mindfulness!

We are proud of our Kindness Rocks project!

Below are the videos that were shared during the International Peace Day line ups.  The first video is a collection of photos taken by the children and words spoken about peace and kindness.  The second video is an updated version of the Kindness Rocks project.

Please talk to your child about how you can continue to spread kindness to help make our world a peaceful place!
