We had lots of fun working outdoors in the builders’ garden this week. This is our name for the small grassy area on the other side of the Junior School Undercroft. We are using this space to find out more about building structures, as part of our Unit of Inquiry on Structures and Shelters.
We cut the string carefully and learned how to tie the bamboo sticks together. We wanted our structures to be strong and stay up on their own, without any wobbling.
