Inquiring at the Farm - Grade 1

As part of their Unit of Inquiry “Making informed choices can influence a healthy and balanced, lifestyle” Gr 1 ventured off to the farm to plant some seeds.
Working in groups, they had to decide which seeds to plant and got to down to business sorting, planting and watering.
What will happen to the seeds now? Which seeds will grow? Why? What will the plants look like when they grow?
It was a very productive and enjoyable afternoon and they learned a lot about group work, decision making and about the consequences of their choices.
