Independent learners in Grade 6

Grade 6 have been taking part in scientific investigations designed to develop problem-solving skills and make independent learners of our students! Y.O.Y.O stands for you’re on your own. Students work together in teams of 4 to complete the set task with minimal guidance from their teacher. They have only the worksheet and their group members to help them. Students can only ask the teacher a question if they use a joker card! (Each group have three of them – one specific question per Joker). All of the group must agree on the question and whether to use a joker before it is used.
