IEP visit to the Dara Pirom Palace Museum and temple

On Friday afternoon for our English outside the classroom activity we went to the Dara Pirom Palace Museum and nearby temple. This gave our students the opportunity to learn about the local history and culture of Chiang Mai.

Firstly, we visited the Dara Pirom Place Museum, the former home of Princess Dara Rasami. The students looked around the museum and completed a questionnaire about the museum and the princess.

After exploring the museum we went to visit the Dara Pirom temple where students were able to explore the beautiful grounds and buildings.
