In Term 3, students are discovering “How the world works” and within that transdisciplinary theme, exploring weather, climate and sustainability. This unit is aligned with our school vision and aims to help students understand the connection between human actions and the environment.
We were lucky enough to have Ajarn Emma, Prem’s Environmental Systems and Societies teacher and expert, join us in class today to speak about climate change and pollution. Students took part in an activity where they had to decide if certain actions were good or bad for the environment.
It was an engaging, meaningful way and contextual way to learn about this fascinating subject and we look forward to visiting the Precious Plastics workshop later this week.
