How long should our mini-farm be?

The children have been inquiring into measurement with a focus on the size of the EY3 Mini Farm.  They had to think about the space that the Mini Farm would go and work with that size.

The children used newspaper and other recycled paper to make a plan.

After making a plan, the children used different items to measure in non-standard units.  For example, blocks or sticks were used instead of a meter stick.
