Hour of Code in Prem

We live in a world immersed in technology. We know that whatever field our students choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly hinge on understanding how technology works and being able to apply this understanding. But only a tiny fraction of us are learning computer science, and fewer students are studying it than a decade ago.

Next Tuesday and Wednesday (6 -7 December),  our students here at Prem (Grade 1 to Grade 7) will be participating in the Hour of Code. The Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics. More than 100 million students worldwide have already tried an Hour of Code.

Please ask your children to share their coding experiences with you and possibly even have a try yourself.  https://studio.code.org/
