Hour of Code

The Hour of Code is a global movement held every year aimed at introducing students to the basics of computer science. This year’s Hour of Code reached students in over 180 countries and saw 142,058 events worldwide.
For Prem’s part, students from Grades 4-8 participated in various coding activities which ranged from building their own games in Scratch (a block-based coding platform) to inter-house coding competitions using Python and Javascript. The students were actively involved in what they were doing as well as showing problem-solving skills. Well done to everyone!
