Highlights of Boarding Life in 2016-2017

All of our boarding students have the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of activities during their free time, especially at weekends. Each term a different programme is developed to cater for all ages and interests and students are encouraged to make suggestions about what they are interested in taking part in.

Reflecting back on this past year there have been a plethora of excursions, sports activities, charity events, restaurant visits and environmental awareness activities as well as some shopping trips of course.

On campus boarders have organised cultural awareness events, taken part in a blessing ceremony, made blessing bags to thank housekeeping staff, and performed at celebrations such as Earth Day.

There is never any shortage of students and boarding staff volunteering to lead activities, despite everyone being busy with their school work or day job; and each activity is well attended and always fun to be a part of.

Our photographs are just a small indication of the range of activities and events that boarders take part in on a regular basis; we could never have enough space to be able to show the sheer variety of everything that is available.

We are always searching for new ideas to add to the programme and always aim to extend it further each year.
