This afternoon we said congratulations and farewell to the Class of 2015. Our students, graduates of both IB Diploma Programme and the IB Career-related Programme, looked fantastic in their new Prem green gowns and they and their families thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
A highlight of the ceremony was the speech made by our guest speaker H.E. Jigmi Thinley, former Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bhutan. His wise words borne of many diverse experiences around the world were well received by all attendees, not least by our six Bhutanese graduates.
Awards were also given for excellence in the the arts, sports, academic study and global citizenship and a special award was also given to a student in the name of Daniel Wilms, one of Prem's founding teachers.
The graduates, their families and friends and school staff will meet this evening for a celebratory dinner at Le Meridien in Chiang Mai and after a restful summer, our graduates will continue their academic journeys at universities around the world.
We wish them every success in the future and we look forward to hearing of their adventures and achievements in years to come.
