Grade 7 - sublime Chemistry

On Wednesday 4th September the grade 7 science class observed how a solid turns directly into a gas by using ‘dry ice’ ( solid carbon dioxide). This solid CO2 changes from a solid to a gas with no intervening liquid form, through a process called sublimation. This process is fascinating to observe and made for a memorable and exciting learning experience!
