Grade 5 PYP Exhibition Invitation

Excitement is building in Gr 5 with the PYP Exhibition less than two weeks away. The Gr 5 students have been working very hard developing their own inquiries and are ready to share their learning with us all. Please see below an invitation from the students for you to join us on the day to celebrate their learning.

Dear Members of the Prem Community,

You are cordially invited for the Grade 5 PYP Exhibition, on Wednesday, 25th May 2016.

The Primary Years Programme Exhibition represents a significant event in the life of a PYP school and Grade 5 student, bringing together the essential elements of the PYP and sharing them with the whole school community. As a culminating experience, it is an opportunity for students to exhibit the attributes of the International Baccalaureate Learner Profile that have been developing throughout their engagement with the PYP. Students also engage in a collaborative, transdisciplinary inquiry process that involves them in identifying, investigating and offering solutions to real-life issues or problems.

The programme for the day is as follows:

9:20 am – 9:50 am: Opening performances on the Junior School Green Tiles
9:50 am – 10.20 am: Enjoy Tea or Coffee and the Student Art Gallery

The Exhibition continues in the Library where we invite you to wander through and engage the students in conversations about their inquiry.

10:20 am – 11:35 am – Session One
12:20 am –  2:00  pm – Session Two

Please join us in celebrating the culmination of the children’s journey through the Primary Years Programme in the Junior School at Prem.

Warm regards,

Grade 5 students
