Grade 5 Graduation

The word “graduate” comes from the Latin gradus, meaning “step”. Last week our Grade 5 students took their next step in education as they Graduated from Junior School.  Celebrating the culmination of hard work and effort of the past 8 years, they crossed the stage to receive their diploma and then later the Quad to join Middle School. The ceremony ended with the burying of a time capsule, which they hope to uncover on the day of their Grade 12 Graduation, filled with letters to their future selves, full of messages of hope and good luck.
