Grade 2 at the Farm

Grade 2 went to the farm to connect with our Unit of Enquiry (UOI), Who We Are. We are currently learning about various types of learning, visual, auditory or kinesthetic. We compared our understanding of animals and how they use their senses to survive in their environment.
Afterwards, Grade 2 used this experience to write a shared recount, retelling their trip to the farm. They used success criteria to ensure that they used a variety of skills, such as ordering words and past tense verbs.
We love visiting the farm as it brings learning to life!
