Grade 1: Community Roles

Today the Grade 1 students presented to parents about various roles a community needs. This was a celebration of their learning about how interdependent members of a community are. For their presentation they had to represent a particular job/role and describe this to the visiting parents. Throughout the unit they had firsthand experience of some of these through trips and visiting speakers. They did an excellent job and showed impressive confidence when talking to the parents who attended.
