Garden to Table

You may have noticed the new Early Years garden behind the EY1 and EY2 classrooms but have you seen what magnificent lettuce the EY1 children have been growing?

This week our EY1 children delivered lettuce to the school kitchen and they were served in a variety of ways for the EY and Grade1 lunch. How delicious!

Also this week we have seen our first EY1 Lettuce Shop pop up outside the classroom at the end of the day. The boys and girls have taken turns picking the lettuce from the garden to sell in the shop each day so it is fresh for families to eat for dinner. Yum! Yum!
