Free online workshops offered by SCAD
Aj.Beth received information about this great opportunity for Prem students to join in some free online course being run by […]
I had the pleasure of accompanying two of our Grade 12 students, Narissara (Sarah) Jabjanthuek and Jigme Kinlay Gyaltshen, to a Global Leadership Careers Workshop at the weekend. This event was hosted by 2 Swiss Universities, Glion and Les Roches, at The Dhara Dhevi in Chiang Mai.
The day focused on developing the key skills required for employment in 2020; complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, emotional intelligence and service orientation. The students in attendance were personally selected from various international schools in Chiang Mai. In groups they carried out a range of activities such as coming up with a pitch as a digitalised entrepreneur and deciding how to spend a $250million budget on a new hotel concept.
Both of our students represented Prem and themselves very well, showcasing the key skills required to succeed in a competitive workplace. Jigme was selected as the overall winner at the event and Sarah was one of the runner ups!
