Friday Roundup

Last week we explored dry cornstarch.  This week we experimented by adding water and food coloring.  Children were able to experience the unique properties of the mixture.  Ask your child about the experience!

We used the family photos that were sent in as a prompt for children to share about their family.  You can see what I scribed for them on ‘Our Families’ board inside the classroom.

 .

We have been learning about ‘peace’ by celebrating diversity.  We read the story of  “Elmer’ and ‘The Peace Book’ and talked about the importance of all of us being different.  This was also supported by our Mid-Autumn Festival learning experience yesterday.

Today, Early Years 1 got a chance to experience a Junior School Assembly by attending the celebration of International Peace Day.
