Forum Theatre in Grade 9

The grade 9 drama students completed their Inter-Disciplinary Unit by performing a piece of Forum Theatre addressing racism; a topic of interest that they had also explored in I & S in response to the theme of Protest.  The audience was encouraged to be active participants in order to help the protagonist of the story protest against the racism he was subjected to.  Thadee led a drama game that adapted himself and then encouraged the grade 9 computer science students to participate in their Forum Theatre piece.  It was a pleasure to see students from different disciplines joining together to share in their learning experience.
