Field Trip to Queen Sirikit Botanical Gardens

Last week, EY3 went on a field trip to Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden.  This trip gave the children the opportunity to further inquire into the Sharing the Planet unit of inquiry.  We had a wonderful time exploring the unique areas of the botanical garden and inquired into the different plants.

We have been reflecting on the plants that we saw and what they need to survive.  We have also thought about which ones are our favorites and why.  This trip has been inspiration for a lot of art in the classroom as well as further wonderings about the different environments that plants live in.

Which plant is your favorite?
