Fantastic Festival of Super Science 2019 reminder.

The Fantastic Festival of Super Science is coming up very soon on Wednesday December 11th. This is an optional activity for all children in Grades 2-5 with all participants earning house points for their team simply be joining in!  Your child will be given a handout this week that will give details about what they need to successfully follow the process and the display requirements. Your child will need to make up their mind this week if they want to participate so that you are able to go shopping this weekend.

We have also gone through this with children at school.  Each participant/group needs to develop a display board for the afternoon. The display boards will be set-up in the auditorium on the day and available to view in the library following the afternoon event. Students will present their projects between 1:30 and 2:30 pm, explaining and/or answering questions viewers may have.

We hope lots of parents, siblings and friends can come along and see their great scientific investigations!

Key information:  Projects should be displayed on a board so others can clearly see the process and final product. Projects can include a demonstration, inquiry, or science experiment.

Projects will be completed at home.
