As a way to begin thinking about where our food comes from, EY3 hosted a breakfast during Community Time. This was connected to our How We Organize Ourselves unit of inquiry. Each child was invited to bring a dish to share with others and we simply enjoyed eating together as a community. It was wonderful to have so many different dishes representing many cultures. Later, we will be looking at the recipes and thinking about what our food is made from and where the ingredients come from.
