Early Years teach our Grade 12 CP Students about communication

The CP SUMAS “Business & Sustainability” students are learning about the importance of non verbal communication within their Leadership Unit.  We went on a field trip to the EY1 class today to witness this in action. Within the EY1 classroom, the students do not rely on a common spoken language to communicate. Instead they play and interact in many creative ways. The Grade 12 students quickly adapted their approach and really enjoyed playing with the younger students. They realised that communication is just as effective, if not more effective, non verbally. This links to the importance of developing their emotional intelligence in order to prepare for leadership roles in the future.
