Daa-da-da

Anyone who has lived in Thailand for a while will be familiar with the jingle of the Walls ice-cream seller. Barge staff was amazed this week to hear the familiar tune ringing out across the Chao Phraya River and then to see the ice-cream boat coming into view. It seemed too good an opportunity to miss, to support the local economy and opened up all sorts of discussions about river traders and livelihoods.
