CP Start Up: 2nd Annual Business Insight Event 13th November 2019

On Wednesday 13thNovember the students following the IB Careers Related Programme in Grade 11 and 12 attended the 2nd Annual Business Insight Event. This was an opportunity to gain firsthand interaction with people from a wide range of industries and businesses. After brief introductions the students rotated around the speaker’s tables and were able to ask questions about business models, structures, routes into various careers, and issues that arise in the world of business.

Our huge thanks to all of our volunteer speakers, Gabriele Lombardo GM of the Shangri-la hotel Chiang Mai, Hugh Clow Founder and CEO of Planks Clothing, Natalie Limwatana of Lanna Rock Garden, Frank Lange Managing Director Asia for Armstriong and Associates Inc., Steven John Hamblin Founder of Parker Bridge Recruitment & Training, Brian Carraway who set up Flying Squirrel Outfitters, Pim Kamasingki Editor Ciity Life magazine, Dr. Khan Nathiwutthikun Architect and Designer, and Masha Hamilton Novelist and Activist.

We also thank Aj.Lisa and Aj.Beth for organizing the event and Krapood Kitchen for providing such a convivial location and ambience.
