Creating an Effective and Purposeful Learning Experience – MUN
Model United Nations (MUN) is a wonderful way to get students to see different perspectives about issues in current affairs. […]
All of the Grade 11 and 12 Career-related Programme (CP) students participated in a “Business Insight Event” on Wednesday 28th November. Banana Bike Kitchen hosted a delicious Afternoon Tea and 6 guest speakers attended to share their business background and areas of expertise with our students. Our guests included; the General Manager of the Shangri-la Hotel in Chiang Mai, one of the owners of Siamaya Chocolate, the Director of Asia Culture Station, the Director of Artist Residency Thailand, a Manager from the Visiting Schools Programme and the Editor of Traidhos Quarterly. The students gained a great insight into various business sectors and had the opportunity to ask questions about the working world. The feedback from the guest and students has been very positive and we hope to develop more links like this with our community in the future.
