Cooking through play

We received a special surprise last week! EY2 kindly gave us their play kitchen. It was great timing as we are beginning to learn about food and where it comes from. The children excitedly began exploring the different parts of the kitchen and quickly began taking on roles. There have been chefs making themselves chefs hats, cooks preparing food, customers ordering food, servers delivering the food, and others menu planning for future cooking. There has been a well organized restaurant all week long in EY3!
