Cooking on a Global Scale

Grade 8 is studying Globalization. While on lock-done we asked them to get off their screens and cook something for their families. The challenge was to cook a dish with the most global range possible (international cuisine, international ingredients etc). It had to be healthy and tasty. The parents/diners filled out a form to rate how much fun the cooks had, how international it was, and how tasty the end product was. And not wanting to leave our Boarding students out Ajarn Erica Denison came over to do this activity in the boarding lounge on Saturday morning. Jerry and Sarah chose to cook chicken, and followed a Greek recipe, then improvised with what they learned.
