Prem Digital Launches!
We are very happy to launch our first edition of Prem Digital – a magazine of student digital art. A […]
It has been a long time since we last had the opportunity to see our wonderful Prem artists’ work on the wall of an exhibition space. By our reckoning, it has been almost a year! So the opening of the annual CMCIS art exhibition felt extra special for us and the communities of the other participating schools. Prem’s students once again delighted us with skilful and thoughtful work, this year with the added bonus of links via QR codes to their Process Journals.
Even with the precaution of only being two schools having an opening event at a time (we were fortunate to share an opening celebration with GIS community) the exhibition attracted over a hundred visitors on Thursday evening. Seeing parents, students and teachers looking at, enjoying and discussing art in an actual exhibition space was an indicator that we may, ever so slowly and carefully, be moving towards a time when we can more frequently celebrate the achievements of Prem students together as a community.
Thank you to our students from grades 9, 10 and 11 who exhibited art pieces, and to all parents, school leaders and colleagues who attended. Particular thanks to Ajarn Bigz for his skill, patience and astounding level of care over every detail that goes into an exhibition like this.
