CMAC Season 2 Games get Underway

This week saw our first season 2 games for football and basketball, with our U12 and U14 boys playing football against CDSC and our Varsity Boys basketball team playing against ABS. Our footballers had differing fortunes with the U12 boys losing against CDSC, however we had a young team out with two of our Grade 6 players injured. Our U14 boys, who have three players fresh from success with our JV team, showed their class with a 4-2 victory and the promise of better things to come. Our Varsity boys basketball team, showed great offence but also the need to tighten up our defence and improve fitness. This resulted in a very tight game with our boys leading with 15 seconds left. However a turnover led to ABS scoring and a last second defeat. While our players were disappointed, sometimes a defeat in your first game can show you where you need to improve and make for a great season.
