Chinese community donation

On Sunday 6 March the Chinese community at Prem celebrated reading with an extremely generous donation to the library.  Over 260 Chinese books were given by students and parents to help build up our collection.

The event, called “Love Chinese, Love Reading”, began with donors printing in each book using Chinese wood chops that were specially designed for the occasion.

This was followed by a presentation during which some students and parents shared why they had chosen the book for the library.

We would like to thank the many parents and students who worked hard to help make this occasion the success that it was.
