On the last Friday of term one the Senior School students and Faculty met to reflect on how Service Learning is central to the mission of the school. Aj.Rachel urged us all to consider how we might be proactive change agents in our daily lives, whether in grand or small ways. Aj.Sarah then shared how much money the Middle Schoolers had raised for a donation to a local school and for the Warm Heart organisation. The CEO of Warm Heart, Khun PJ addressed the student body and explained what an impact their efforts had on the lives of the young people they cared for.
Straight after this the whole Senior School attended the Service Learning Fair where students found out about the amazing array of service opportunities available to them here at Prem. The auditorium was buzzing with activity and excitement as students signed up to be part of these initiatives.
Our thanks to Aj.Lisa, and to all of the staff and students who run these activities and all those who helped Aj.Lisa organise the fair.
