Campfire Cooking in Grade 1

The Grade 1K students enjoyed a very exciting visit to the forest this week. Ajarn Tona showed us how to cook tasty treats over the campfire. We started off with warm bananas filled with melted chocolate. They were so yummy! Then we learned how to bake our own bread on a long stick. Everyone took care so that we didn’t drop our long ‘sausage’ of dough onto the forest floor.
We have learned many new skills and had lots of wonderful experiences during our outdoor learning visits, but today’s forest feast was definitely our favourite and most delicious activity! Thank you to all the Traidhos staff who have supported our Outdoor Learning program during Semester One.
